European Museum Night

On Saturday the 17 of May, the Living History Museum will be extending its opening hours until 9pm for European Museum Night ! On this occasion, come and discover our temporary exhibition “The Railway Adventure”, running from 6 to 25 May 2025. Visitors will be able to discover this adventure in the Museum atrium.

The exhibition will feature objects from the lives of former railway workers from the collection of Daniel Combrexelle, a former railway worker and the son and grandson of railway workers. A rail enthusiast, he was in the driver’s seat of the Orient-Express locomotive departing Gare Saint-Lazare. He is also one of the founders of Musée Ajecta, the Railway Museum.

Daniel Combrexelle will be giving a presentation on Saturday 17 May 2025 at 9pm about how the railway transformed people’s lives at that time. Join him to discover the birth of this incredible adventure and ask this unconditional lover of old-fashioned railway all your questions !

 

Ticket information :
Exhibition and conference included in your visit of the Living History Museum, at the usual prices. Tickets are available online or at the Museum reception.
